Secret Supermarket

Behind my laundry mat, there is a supermarket. The food is fresh and well priced. I would not know about this food market if it was not for my need to go on walks as my clothes dry. The store is called “Gokul: Indian Supermarket.” It is a beautiful building.

Early Spring Overgrowth

In early spring, even the most well kept yards have an unruly look to them. The plants seem to burst from the ground joyfully. The home depicted below caught my eye as I was doing my morning errands. I had to stop and catch its cool yet dynamic, early spring attitude.

The following is the small study I drew first and worked on in between drying layers.

Constructive Drawing

After a week long break, I have returned to my bicycle landscape drawings. The drawing below is of a construction site on the border of Absecon and Oceanville. The vehicle is a Bobcat and I believe the house is being built by Community Construction.

This summer, I will be teaching classes at the the Noyes Museum of Art and the Hammonton Art Center. For class schedules, details, and pricing, click here. I am also hard at work helping the Mill Street Art Center get up and running.
