I spent the day painting at the annual Cumberland County Plein Air Riverfest event hosted by Gallery 50 in Bridgeton, NJ. I painted two pieces on site. Each took about three hours. Both works are watercolor and feature the beautiful Cohansey River. Both works are available for purchase at Gallery 50 until September 27th.

In 2005 I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design. It’s not something I think about often, but what I learned from art school was priceless. Here’s a watercolor painting of a bee I made while remembering the ol’ alma mater. Go Bees!
