The True Meaning of the Holidays

Is toys!

No, just kidding. But really, Christmas is much better when children are around. Here’s a painting of a toy train. Go buy some kid a toy. No socks.

The Playground Across the Street

Here is another drawing from my previously discussed bike adventures. The park across the street is quite wonderful. There is a cultural center, a baseball field, trees, and two separate play grounds. I may find myself spending a little more time there.

Joyous Elephant

This week I discovered the Historic Village of Smithville. I fell in love with the small collection of shops and restaurants upon my first visit. Today, I ventured into an art gallery called the Artist’s Eye.

Enough babble. Here is a small drawing I made of the carousel in Smithville. The elephant’s emotion is very similar to how I feel about the quickly approaching spring. What lovely weather we’ve had lately!
