I Remember Wanamaker’s

Right now, this painting is hanging in the Ocean City Arts Center’s “I Remember Wanamaker’s” show. It is truly an honor to show in the Ocean City Arts Center’s gorgeous gallery again. This was an invitation only themed show that I am proud to be a part of. The only problem is, I don’t remember Wanamaker’s.  Sure is a pretty organ, though.

Four Seasons in Philadelphia

This week, I finished the final watercolor in my Rittenhouse Square series. All four paintings were created on site, outdoors in Philly. It started in spring. My paints dried quickly in summer. I’m quite proud of fall. Winter was warm this year.

Be There.

D’Arcy D’Lux

This month’s Dr. Sketchy’s Philly session was exceptionally fun. The model, D’Arcy D’Lux, really knew how to put on a show.

Buffering

Here is a small ACEO I painted in about fifteen minutes. It is a small sketch of a tiny corner in Philadelphia.

I’ve made a resolution to visit Philly once a week this summer. Expect more urban sketches.

City Sketch. Ink and watercolor on matte board. 2.5″x3.5″ (6.4cmx8.9cm).

Unframed: $15.00

Steampunk Sketchy’s

It has been a while since I attended a Dr. Sketchy‘s Anti Art School in Philadelphia. And what an event it was today! The costumes were gorgeous at the steam punk themed Dr. Sketchy’s. Our lovely models were Lulu Lollipop and Ginger Leigh of the burlesque Peek-A-Boo Revue, with special guest posings by Count Scotchula.
