May Your Days be Merry and Bright

Twice a month at the Hammonton Arts Center, the Painter’s Atelier meets. The Painter’s Atelier is a group of painters interested in learning from one another. Each meeting has a theme. Today’s theme was “snow.”  Below is my wintry, watercolor still life including a snow globe. It is fascinating to see the variety of work 5 different artists can create using a single word.

Animal Antics

I’ve been into drawing animals lately.

Heads up: my red ink tends to scan as either more pink or more orange than it actually is. These drawings were made with red and black ink on white, cotton Stonehenge paper.

Snowed In

This week, I have no excuse not to participate in Sketchbook Saturday. The snow has trapped me in my home.

Here is a drawing of an old sneaker overlapping the box for Left 4 Dead 2. It is drawn with ball point pen on Stonehenge paper in my lovely Parkside Harmony sketchbook.

An Oldie But Goodie

A sketch I did of a snowy parking lot back in February.
