Welcome Spring!

It is the first day of spring. It also happens to be Sketchbook Saturday.

Very close to my home is a big, beautiful bird reserve. No one appreciates the arrival of springtime quite as much as our feathered friends. The gestures below were drawn from live birds, which are found in abundance in my area. There is a hen, a rooster, some geese, and a large, black, duck-like bird with a bumpy beak.

Happy Spring! Happy Sketching!
